Washer Tearms of Services

Welcome to Washer

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Washer mobile application and services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1 Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Washer application, you agree to be bound by these Terms, to comply with our Privacy Policy, and to follow applicable laws and any additional guidelines we publish.

1.2 Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notifications, email, or a prominent notice in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

Certain features may be subject to additional terms presented when you access those features.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

2.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use Washer. By using the Service you represent you have legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2.2 Account Registration

To use the Service you must create an account with accurate information, a valid email, a secure password, and a phone number for order coordination.

2.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access.

2.4 Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, false information, fraud, abuse, or security risks.

3. Description of Service

Washer connects Customers with independent third-party laundry service Providers for pickup, cleaning, and delivery. Washer is a technology platform only and does not perform laundry services directly.

  • Services offered include wash & fold, dry cleaning, ironing, specialty care, and related services.
  • Providers are independent contractors responsible for quality, logistics, and care of items.

4. Using the Service

4.1 Booking Services

  1. Select service type
  2. Provide pickup & delivery addresses
  3. Choose pickup time
  4. Add special instructions
  5. Confirm payment method and submit order

4.2 Pricing

Prices are set by Providers and shown before confirmation. Additional charges may apply for specialty items or rush service.

4.3 Payment

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You authorize charges at order placement. Taxes may be added at checkout.

4.4 Cancellations and Refunds

Cancel before pickup at no charge. Cancellations after pickup follow the Provider's policy. Refund requests must be made within 48 hours of service completion to horseaustralia08@gmail.com. Approved refunds processed within 5–10 business days.

5. User Responsibilities and Conduct

Use the Service lawfully. Prohibited activities include harassment, fraud, manipulation of reviews, reverse engineering, automated access, and transmitting malware. Ensure items are ready for pickup and check pockets for valuables.

6. Location Services and Tracking

We collect pickup/delivery addresses and real-time GPS during active orders. By using the Service you consent to collection and sharing of location data with Providers. Disabling location may prevent core features from working.

7. Intellectual Property

All app content, design, and code are owned by Washer. You receive a limited, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. User-submitted content grants Washer a worldwide, royalty-free license to use it to provide and improve the Service.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. Washer is not responsible for Provider actions or service quality. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Washer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater, except where the law does not permit such limits.

9. Disputes and Resolution

If you have a dispute with a Provider, try to resolve it directly, then contact horseaustralia08@gmail.com. For disputes with Washer, contact horseaustralia08@gmail.com for informal resolution. Unresolved disputes may proceed to binding arbitration (with exceptions for small claims, IP disputes, and injunctive relief). You agree to individual arbitration and waive class actions.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Our Privacy Policy applies to data collection and use. You can access, update, or delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Account Deletion

You may delete your account in the app or by emailing horseaustralia08@gmail.com. Personal data will be deleted within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

12. Communications

By using the Service you consent to electronic communications (order confirmations, updates, legal notices). You may opt out of marketing emails via unsubscribe links; transactional messages cannot be opted out of.

13. Third-Party Services

The app may link to third-party sites. We use third-party integrations such as Stripe, Google Maps, and Firebase — your use of those services is subject to their terms.

14. Mobile App Provisions

To use the app you need a compatible iOS or Android device, internet connection, and location services enabled. Install updates when available. Data charges may apply.

15. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may terminate accounts for breaches, fraud, inactivity (2+ years), or discontinuation of the Service. Certain sections survive termination (e.g., IP, disclaimers, indemnification).

16. Miscellaneous

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remain in effect. We may assign our rights; you may not transfer your account without consent. We are not liable for force majeure events.
